Please be advised of the following: - Since the wedding is in May, the weather is subject to change. We are hoping for a bright, sunny, warmer (50-60 degree) day; but, please be advised that it could still snow or rain that day. - PLEASE BE AWARE OF ELEVATION CHANGE. This will impact breathing, so please be advised if you are on any medication that could affected/impact your health with the elevation change. - There are some steps that lead up the Moraine Discovery Amphitheater (ceremony spot), but, there is stadium style seating for everyone. -For the day of the wedding: (Regarding Timed Entry Permit System, from Rocky Mountain National Park) : - There is a LIMIT OF 10 CARS TOTAL for our wedding party that can enter the park. We will need to coordinate to carpool to the ceremony site. - Wedding permit holders will not be required to get a reservation timed entry ticket since the Wedding permit will be their reservation ticket. GUESTS: OBTAIN COPY OF PERMIT FROM BRIDE/GROOM. - To access the park, you will need to show your Wedding Permit at the gate. The wedding permit allows access to Timed Entry Permitted areas (Bear Lake Road corridor and the Rest of the Park) 2 hours prior to your ceremony start time, and the rest of the day after your ceremony. - Wedding permit only covers reservation- timed entry ticket. It does not cover entrance fees/pass; you can pay entrance fee at park entry. - For guest(s), if riding in your vehicle, just pay the entrance fees. If they are in separate vehicles, give each vehicle associated with the wedding party a copy of the wedding permit to show the gate to indicate that they are part of your group. - For days before or after Wedding: You and guests will need to get reservations if they are visiting outside of the wedding day. Lily Lake area would require individuals to get reservations also. YOU WILL NEED TO GET A DAY PASS FOR PARK AND FOR BEAR LAKE ROAD.
