The day we have planned is pretty informal, so no need for formal wear, but you are welcome to get all dolled up if you like. You can wear whatever you want! Think of it as if you're going to see a show--because, well, you are! *If this helps: Derek will be wearing a suit and Deanna will be wearing a wedding dress :)
We want to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable, so we have really taken COVID into consideration while planning our wedding. The ceremony will be outdoors, as well as the reception. There will be heated lamps at the reception in case the weather is a bit chilly, and it is a covered pavilion, but not enclosed. When we enter the movie theatre, we recommend guests wear a mask while watching the film. We encourage guests to stay up to date with the latest COVID information and travel safely! We will monitor the health data and may request that friends and family take an at-home COVID test prior to attending if the numbers warrant that. Thank you for helping us keep the day safe for everyone!
Yes! We want to celebrate with you and your family, so bring them along.
We will have a buffet dinner at Melzingah Tap House with various options. Kids can order a meal from the kids menu and put it on our tab, rather than eat from the buffet. When you RSVP to the invite, let us know if your child/children will be eating from the kids menu or the buffet so we can get an accurate head count. Adults with dietary restrictions, please let us know and we will try our best to accommodate!
We want our wedding to be an intimate affair, so we are expecting less than 75 people.
There is ample parking for the ceremony at Long Dock Park. Melzingah Tap House has a relatively small parking lot we can utilize, but there is a municipal lot next door at the corner of Verplanck Ave and Main Street, as well as plenty of free street parking on the nearby side streets.
Due to the fact our family and friends are coming from different parts of the country, we will not be having a wedding shower.
