Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our Wedding Mass will be held at 1:00 pm at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Point Loma (1140 Evergreen Street, San Diego.) The reception will begin at 4:30pm at Feast and Fareway, at the Coronado Golf Course, on Coronado Island (2000 Visalia Row, Coronado.) The drive from the church to the golf course is about twenty minutes. Enjoy the views of the San Diego Harbor, downtown skyline, and Coronado Bridge on the way!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our Wedding Mass will be held inside the church. Cocktail hour will take place on the outdoor patio (pending good weather!) Dinner will be served indoors.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kiddos at home so you can celebrate with us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least a half hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get started on schedule. The church has regularly scheduled services in the late afternoon, so this is one wedding where the bride will be walking down the aisle on time!

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Because the Wedding Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. to accommodate regularly scheduled services, there will be approximately two hours between the end of the ceremony to the beginning of the reception. Feel free to relax at your hotel, grab a drink at a local restaurant, or check out some San Diego sights. For other ideas of how to spend the time, please see the webpage titled "Things To Do."

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Following the ceremony, the reception will take place at the Coronado Golf Course, across the Coronado Bridge. Fair warning: the turn onto Glorietta Boulevard is very sudden. If you drive past it, don't panic! Simply merge into the left lane and make a U-turn before you drive back across the bridge.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking at St. Agnes will be primarily residential street parking, but we don't anticipate you will have to walk further than a block or two. While there is a small parking lot, we ask that, if able, you leave those spots available for guests who require a closer spot. The Coronado Golf Course has a large parking lot and there should be ample parking.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We request that you RSVP as soon as possible so that we can plan accordingly. Please see the webpage titled "RSVP." Please enter your food preference, additional guest name (if requested), dietary restrictions, and any other comments or questions.

Question

Will you be serving food during the reception?

Answer

We will be serving light passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner and dessert.

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

No problem! Please note the restriction when you RSVP.

Question

What should I do if I cannot attend?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot attend the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "will not attend" so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We do ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. However, during the reception, we encourage guests to take and post pictures! Our only request is that you tag each picture with our wedding hashtag #LetsGetRusthitched so we can see all the pictures!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

No clue. As beautiful as San Diego is 99.99% of the time, February can be tricky and we can't rule out rain. While we're hoping for sunny skies, we suggest checking the weather report in in the days leading up to February 12, 2022. In any case, even if we get lucky, it tends to get chilly once the sun goes down. If you get cold easily, we recommend bringing a layer!

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes! #LetsGetRusthitched

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We do! Please check the webpage titled "Travel" for more details.

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Bed Bath & Beyond, Crate & Barrel, Williams Sonoma, and Macy's. Please check the webpage titled "Registry" for more details.

Question

I still have questions. What is the best way to contact you?

Answer

If you still have questions after going through the above FAQs, please feel free to text Cassie, Rose (Cassie's mother), or Donnie (Derek's mother) or email rustichwedding@gmail.com.
