Beach Ceremony

Semi-snappy casual, beach friendly. Shoes discouraged.
We recommend you Lyft, Uber, or bike out to the North Lido Beach Parking Lot. There is street parking, but it will be a busy time of day. We plan to be off the first beach access following St. Armands circle, near a dune full of sea oats. There will be signage to help you locate us. Bring a towel, beach chair, cooler - whatever inspires you. Feel free to get there early and enjoy the beach. 5:00 p.m.: We will have a brief ceremony and exchange of vows while enjoying the ocean and each other. 5:15-6 p.m.: SWIMMING! Singing, or sand sitting. 5:35 p.m.: Sunset (unless the Sunshine Protection Act is passed, in which case we can bump things later by an hour) We reserve the right to change the time of the ceremony that day, depending on the weather. We will give a notice in advance.

We will be serving tasty beverages, nibbles, and food to accommodate a variety of diets. Kid-friendly and encouraged. We are working to arrange for on-site child care. No assigned seating, so pick your friends, make new friends, and don't stay stuck to your seat! Yes, music. Yes, dancing.
