Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie Optional Men should wear a tuxedo, but it’s not a requirement. If you end up going tuxedo-less, we ask that you wear a formal dark suit and tie instead. Women should wear a long evening gown/dress, but a dressy suit is fine too!

It should be a beautiful sunny day with highs in the upper 70s!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (5pm-7pm), the reception will be indoors with an outdoor patio (7pm-11pm)

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour with complimentary drinks and horderves, followed by the reception.

What time should I arrive?

We kindly ask that you arrive by 5pm.

Is there parking?

Answer

There will be complimentary valet parking at the Bel-Air Bay Club, but we encourage using Uber or Lyft.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, the venue can accommodate any dietary restrictions. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any requests.

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered on Zola (see registry section on our website).

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

There will not be transportation provided to/from the hotel. There will be complimentary valet at the venue, but we strongly encourage using Uber or Lyft.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We ask that you do not use your phone during the ceremony, but encourage guests to take pictures and videos throughout the rest of the evening. Our wedding hashtag is #BlumIntoBloom We will also have a professional photographer, videographer, and a photo booth :)
