We have Austin and Tori Cook to thank for it all. Tori and Baylie work together, and one day she casually asked if Baylie was single. When Baylie said yes, Tori mentioned Derek. We had known of each other for years through mutual friends. We had been in the same places countless times, always just missing the chance to really meet. Baylie admitted she had always thought Derek was handsome and said she'd be open to a double date. Austin didn't waste a second telling Derek about her. That very night, Derek texted Baylie asking her on a double date the next day. Needless to say, the double date went really well... and we've pretty much been inseparable ever since.
