Nick has been Derek's best friend since the fifth grade. They make time for each other and spend time together watching movies, going to the bookstore, talking about superheros, and talking on the phone regularly. Ashley and Nick enjoy talking about their favorite books and movies. We all enjoy going to the movies together especially when Ashley and Nick can convince Derek to go to a good chick-flick every now and then!!

Stephannie is a wonderful cousin of Ashley's. She is a great mother of her son, Max! Stephannie is very loving and sweet. Ashley has always looked up to Stephannie. It is very special for her to be standing with us as we say "I Do"!

Van and Derek have been working together for the past five years. Van is married to his wife, Chantal and has two daughters. Van always makes us laugh and is so full of energy! Derek and Ashley love spending time with Van's family! Between Derek and Van, Ashley has learned how to play poker and has learned the basics of football! Yay Tom Brady!

Ashley met Alex over three years ago at our church's fish dinner! Alex and Ashley instantly clicked! Alex is a Senior at Ida High School and is an amazing basketball player and piano player. Alex has an amazing faith in God and has a huge heart. It is such a blessing that Alex is in Ashley and Derek's life.

Wade is Ashley's brother and will be Derek's brother-in-law. Wade is married to his wife, Emily and is a great step-dad to Alex and Ellie. Ashley has always looked up to Wade growing up, even after he knocked out Ashley's two front teeth!! Derek and Wade spend time Disc Golfing and he has always been supportive of both of us. We love Wade very much and are thrilled that he is apart of our special day!

Emily is Ashley's sister-in-law and the mother of Alex and Ellie. Emily is married to Ashley's brother, Wade. Emily has been very supportive of Ashley and Derek's relationship from the start. Emily and Wade helped Derek with the arrangements when Derek proposed to Ashley. Because of Emily, we have our beautiful pictures of our engagement. Ron is Ashley's younger cousin (just by 9 months). He is an awesome uncle to his nephew, Max, and is a great brother to his sisters, Stephanie and Amber. Ron and Ashley have been very close. He has also been very welcoming to Derek. Ron and Derek have so much in common. They talk about sports and video games. We are so blessed to have Ron in our life and we are very excited that he is going to be a part of our special day.

Amber is Ashley's cousin. She has recently graduated from Woodmore High School and Penna Trade School for welding. Amber is so talented with welding. On a recent trip to Cedar Point, she was sure to tell Derek and Ashley if there was a bad weld on a ride or not! Ashley and Amber have become close and they love spending time together. Derek and Ashley are very blessed that Amber is in their lives and we are very excited that she will be a part of our special day!

Van introduced Derek and Ashley to Jimmy at last years Ohio/Michigan game. Jimmy has been nothing short of a really great friend of theirs and they are so happy that they have gotten to know him and we are very excited that he is going to be apart of our big day!

Ellie is Ashley's only niece. Ellie, Ashley, and Derek have bonded right from the beginning. When Ellie sees Ashley, she always asks, "Where Derek is at?" She is such a wonderful little lady and we are so blessed to have her be our flower girl for our special day.

Patrick is Derek's oldest nephew! Patrick is 5 years old and is very smart! Patrick loves to explore and learn new things! Patrick is the son of Derek's sister, Amber and the new big brother of Elijah. We are so excited to have him as our ring bearer!
