What is the dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional. Tuxedos and evening gowns are welcome. Alternatively, a dark suit and tie or formal cocktail dress is appropriate. We can’t wait to see everyone all dressed up!

Are all events in one location?

Yes! All wedding day events will take place at The Merrimon-Wynne House and will flow seamlessly around the property.

Are children invited?

While we love your little ones, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adult-only occasion. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements in advance. We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. Each invited individual will appear when you RSVP.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is on-site parking. Guests are welcome to leave their vehicles overnight at the venue. Please ensure cars are picked up by 9am the following day. We encourage everyone to celebrate safely and make use of this option if needed. Some hotel accomadations listed on our site are also within walking distance of the venue!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

No, transportation will not be provided for wedding day events. We suggest using Uber or Lyft! The venue is in the heart of downtown, so walking is also an option.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the listed ceremony start time to allow for parking and finding your seat.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full open bar throughout the evening starting at the cocktail hour.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony—our photographer will capture everything beautifully. Snap away during the reception!
