The love story began junior year of high school at The Calverton School. Jenna couldn't resist introducing herself to the cute new guy from Arizona on his first day. Jenna & Kyle became friends throughout the rest of the year. Kyle made the first move and asked Jenna to Junior Prom. One week later they went on their first date to the Prince Frederick movie theater to see Nightmare on Elm Street. From that moment on, Jenna & Kyle were inseparable for the rest of high school. They were often seen passing notes to each other throughout the school day, going on Wawa dates during their free period, or cheering from the sidelines at each others sports games. After graduation, Kyle went to University of Tampa in Tampa, FL and Jenna went to DePaul University in Chicago, IL. They decided to part ways during college due to the distance, but always remained friends. They even managed to see each other a few times throughout the years. During those visits, it felt like no time had passed. Deep down, both Jenna & Kyle always kind of knew they would end up together. In 2020, Jenna flew home to Maryland for the 2 weeks leading up to the COVID quarantine lockdown. Jenna reached out to Kyle, knowing that he only lived an hour away in Virginia, to hang out. They continued to hang out throughout COVID until the quarantine was over and Jenna had to go back to Chicago. About 8 months later, Jenna & Kyle realized that they both had feelings for each other. Kyle flew out to Chicago with a broken foot to get his girl. They officially started dating right after that visit in June 2021 and haven't looked back since! Jenna moved to Virginia to be with Kyle 1 year later. Since living together in Virginia, they adopted a goldendoodle named Rita and bought a house. On Jenna's 30th birthday trip to Harper's Ferry, WV, Kyle proposed to Jenna with a scrapbook of photos from throughout their relationship. Jenna & Kyle can't wait to get married in October 2024 to start their happily ever after!
