On the dance floor of a dark house party at the University of Delaware, Sam was a sophomore breaking it down in her dirty wedges and skinny jeans. She turned to look at the dj and there he was, Syd, a freshman wearing a basketball jersey to a night party. Sam worked her way over to introduce herself and compliment his music taste. Syd immediately fell in love. Some time passed and they almost forgot about each other, until the next semester when UD put them in the same building to cross paths after class. From there it was history, they made it official October 2016 and spent every day together. A year later, they gave their parents a heart attack by getting a dog and then moving in together (while still in school) the following year. Luckily, Sam and Syd met at the perfect time where they could build a strong and meaningful connection to last them a lifetime. So almost 9 years later we are living in Brooklyn with our sassy dog Penny and getting married! Excited for all the future has in store for us and to expand our families with our union.
