The Liberty Bell is located right across the street from Hotel Monaco. Admission to view the Liberty Bell is free.
Visit where our founding fathers debated the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. This is also located just across the street from Hotel Monaco. Tickets are only $1, but they do need to be reserved in advance.
Reading Terminal Market is a must visit while in Philadelphia. The market is aisles and aisles of a variety of food vendors - cheesesteaks, soul food, pastries, you name it. Renee really recommends the chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies from Famous 4th Street Cookies. This is roughly a 15-minute walk from Hotel Monaco, but well worth the trip.
If you're looking to take a picture with the Rocky Statue and climb the infamous Rocky Steps, head on over to the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
If you like museums, we recommend this one! It's a science museum and one that we've been to when they had a pop-up Harry Potter exhibit.
Philadelphia is the "City of Brotherly Love," and what better occasion than a wedding to visit the LOVE statue! This is also across from City Hall and will take you right down into Center City.
If you're looking for ice cream (it will be June after all), we highly recommend this spot that is walking distance from either the Hotel Monaco or the Holiday Inn.
If you're looking for a good Chinatown rec, this is our fav spot!
We haven't been here yet, but we hear these are some of the best cheesesteaks Philly has to offer. This would be about a 20 min walk from Old City.
