She couldn't believe he was standing there distracting the photographer as she's on the floor trying to make the stereo work at her very first event, only to find that she did not have the right cord. Annoyed, and flustered, she's still cordial and she interacts with all of the guests. Once the nerves are gone and the event is moving without her assistance, she finally steps to the back to eat. He'd be maneuvering the room taking shots of his subject, the person she'd hired to host the event but he noticed her in the back, finally enjoying the food that she ordered for the event, especially the shrimp and he asked, "Are you just going to hide back here eating shrimp." She said yes. They talked, realized they had a mutual friend and eventually made a plan to work together. They became friends and referral partners for work and didn't begin dating until about 5 years later but in that time, they'd come to grow a deep and meaningful friendship. They were grateful to have each other in so many ways and it was awesome when he finally asked her to "go steady."
