Hello, Friends

What a wild time to get married! We can't wait to celebrate with everyone when we are able. For now, we are planning a small ceremony with our immediate family and close friends. We hope to hug you soon. Love, Autumn and Tyler

The First "I Love You"

They met on a dating app, so here's a cuter story

They had been dating a few months when Autumn convinced Tyler to check out a little dive bar she had driven by countless times. They found a good spot on the patio outside and shared some nachos under a big oak tree. Both had been dancing around saying the three words for weeks but, running out of ways to express how much he "like-like"d her, Tyler confessed his love at last. Autumn returned the sentiment and they grinned at each other like idiots until the sun went down. Tyler was such a fan of the spot that he told his parents about it, and in turn they surprised him by revealing that what was now the bar used to be his great-aunt's house where he spent his childhood Christmases. For that reason Indian Roller, aka Aunt Lela's house will forever hold a special place in their hearts.

Tea in Galway

the proposal

Tyler and Autumn both have an affinity for all things Irish. It doesn't make much sense as neither of them are Irish, nor exposed to any Irish culture at any point in their lives. Yet, Tyler can sing the words to hundreds of war ballads, and Autumn would love nothing more than to treat you to a very boring history of the Irish diaspora. To them, it was the obvious choice for their summer vacation. After eating and drinking their way around Galway one day, they decided to take the long route home and promptly got completely lost. Trying to navigate back into the city, they found a sweet little cottage tucked away from the main road of modern housing. A hand painted sign on the doorway advertised for afternoon tea. The owner of the cottage set them up with a kettle and some pastries in the garden and made her way back into the house. Tyler looked at Autumn across the giant rock serving as their table and asked, "Are you happy?" Mouthful of scone, Autumn smiled and said, "the happiest." Tyler took out the ring he'd been carrying around all day and proposed. (Autumn said yes)
