Kevin and I met through a mutual friend whom was adamant that he and I were perfect for each other. After landing my first job after leaving from college I received a call from Kevin asking to take me out to lunch...I accepted, however, I was a bit uncertain as to whether or not I should go. Kevin arrived the following day for our lunch date. I received a call from the security notifying me of this. I then asked her to vet him to see if he at least passed the attractive test, she confirmed that he did...I figured I still had time to decline lol. I was still a bit taken aback as her standards and mine may probably not be the same. But then I thought to myself, 'man it cant be that bad if he came with such high recommendation, hence, I came out and we went for lunch. He was well groomed, well dressed and yes he had passed the attractive test lol. Our first date I would say was rather impressionable. He left a lasting impression on me and I on him. On the drive, we chat and the journalist in me asked a million and one questions, and let me just say, this man was so honest I sat in total shock during the drive. One may wonder how I knew he wasn't lying; well...if you knew the question I asked then you too would concur lol. About 5 to 6 years later, Kevin called and we chatted for hours on the phone, this time was different. It was then that we began dating. Kevin was the most humble, passive, caring, gentle, selfless, busiest gentleman I had ever met...I must say, he is the same man today that I had met some 15 years ago.
