Best Man
David is my oldest brother. He has helped shape me into the person that I am today. Whenever I've needed help or advice in life, he's always been there for me. I am very fortunate to have him as a brother and best friend as well, and can't wait for him to be by my side come wedding day. Plus, now we get to work together! I figure if we survived our childhood together we will survive as business partners.
Best Man
My older brother Robbie has always been there for me. He has also helped shape me into the person I am today. We went to college at NAU together (he was there for my first two years). He was always looking out for me when I joined his fraternity, and kept me out of trouble a time or two (that's a story for a different day). I'm lucky to have such an amazing brother and best friend, and can't wait for him to be standing with me at my wedding.
Groomsman
Josh is my oldest friend. Since preschool, he's been there every step along the way in life. Growing up, we lived in the same neighborhood, and now, we live within a mile of each other again in Scottsdale. I could not imagine getting married without him by my side, I just hope he can stay awake for the whole party.
Groomsman
Gustavo moved to Arizona in middle school, and it seems our friendship has grown every year. He's one of the best people you'll ever meet. Just need to make sure he adds the wedding date and time to his schedule otherwise he may have a meeting he needs to be at.
Groomsman
The reason why I root for Nebraska football on Saturdays (although they don't make it easy). Derek was one of my roommates throughout the majority of optometry school. He was actually the first person I became friends with in Houston. We were really good at spending countless hours finding ways to put off studying. He's one of the best people you'll ever meet, must be the midwesterner in him.
Groomsman
Santino was the second roommate in our house during optometry school. The man has a big heart and would help anyone that is in need. He definitely studied the hardest in our house. As an old man, he needed all of the study hours he could get. He may be a few years older than the rest of us, but I know he'll have the most stamina on the dance floor at the wedding.
Groomsman
Macon was the last of the roommates in optometry school. Smartest guy I know. He could study for 30 minutes and memorize everything he needed to know for an exam. It's too bad his studying skills don't translate to the golf course. In all seriousness, I know he'll always be a lifelong friend even though he lives across the country in Florida. Can't wait for him to be by my side as I get married.
Groomsman
Chandler might as well have been our roommate in optometry school, he was over almost every day. Couldn't have made it through school without his friendship. He's always looking out for others before himself, one of the greatest guys I know. I can't wait to have him help me get married. If you see him at the wedding, try to convince him to finally make the move to Scottsdale.
Groomsman
Josh and I lived together for 3 years in college, and were in the same fraternity. It is safe to say we went through a lot together, and got to know each other very well. We may have gotten on each others nerves once or twice, but we survived. He's a lifelong friend and I couldn't imagine getting married without his help.
Groomsman
Clark the Shark was also in our fraternity during college. He might as well have been our roommate since he practically lived at our house. Being a few years older than me, we didn't hang out much until my second year (lets just say he made rushing my first year a little more difficult). But he quickly became one of my best friends, and I can't wait to have him up there with me when I get married.
Groomsman
Cody was also in my fraternity at NAU. It took us some time to get to know each other, but over the years he became a great friend. He is one of the greatest people you will ever meet. Watch out for the tall blonde guy on the dance floor at the wedding, I know he'll be there from 8-12.
Maid of Honor
My sister has been my biggest fan and idol. I am so lucky to have had such a talented and strong woman in my life that never let me fail or lose faith in myself. I followed her for almost every step of her life ( as every little sister does) all the way to college until she moved to San Francisco, although she now resides in New York, distance can never be too grand for our friendship & closeness. It has all come full circle and I can't wait for her to help me marry the man of my dreams!
Maid of Honor
My soon to be little sister, wise beyond her years and a heart of gold. It didn't take us very long to become super close. I love our girl dates, bachelorette tv nights and I finally have someone on my side sharing/understanding Jonathan's little quirks (like leaving every light on in the house at all times- and he refuses to admit that he does it). I can't wait to be apart of the Kay family especially since I finally get a little sister!
Bridesmaid
One of my Optometry besties and now life long friend. Katelyn is always sporting the newest designer glasses, has the BEST advice and is the ultimate listener. We share a love for drinking wine, watching movies and she was the first person to ever introduce me to putting M&Ms in my popcorn and I have been hooked since! Even though she now lives in Minnesota, I know she's only a FaceTime away. I can't wait to show her around my hometown and experience the ultimate Bordertown!
Bridesmaid
Noor and I went to high school together but didn't become best friends until I moved to Dallas in 2019 and she was finishing up her residency post optometry school! Our love for working out at 6am together, eating hot cheetos and drinking spicy margaritas really solidified our friendship, and I can't ever see my life without her! There's no better feeling than having the people you love surround me on one of the most important days of my life.
Bridesmaid
Nicole will be marrying Jonathans brother, Robbie in May 2022! She is always so friendly and knows exactly how to make everyone always feel so welcome. I love her fun personality and I know we'll get to know each other so much better in the next years and I can't wait to call her my sister in law!
Bridesmaid
We met at college orientation weekend and I basically made her become my bff because we were both from El Paso but went to different high schools. Don't let her shy demeanor fool you, this girl can make me laugh harder than any one I know and I also blame her for my shopaholicism. I'm thankful for our memories and the fact that she lives in El Paso so I know she's never too far away. She's always been there for me, so I know on my wedding day, I have nothing to worry about if she's by my side!
Bridesmaid
Another one of my optometry school best friends but wasn't afraid to sit in the front row with me through out school and even moved out to Dallas with me for our externship rotations our last year of school. She is probably the smartest person I know and she doesn't have to try one bit, if beauty and brains had a definition it would be Lara. I have no doubt she'll be right next to me on the dance floor all night!
Bridesmaid
My Optometry school mentor turned best friend. Its hard to think that I had to share her with another student, but we quickly realized we were basically sisters. Her love for dogs, our past and looks was easily a distinguishable match to be forever besties. Though its debatable on who is the clumsiest person in my life, it's a tough tie between Viv and Jonathan. I have the honor of being part of her bridal party and I could not see myself marrying Jonathan without her by my side!
Bridesmaid
My oldest friend out of my bridesmaids, we've swum endless miles in high school together, maintained our friendship even through distance in college and after! Luckily we now live in the same city where we can have endless pizza & martini dates. She definitely has a wanderlust soul and even bigger heart for her friends, so thankful to have such a great lifelong best friend!
Bridesmaid
Rebecca is my twin cousin; same age, dark hair, and height (maybe I'm stretching the truth there) but she's basically my other sister. We grew up together but she ended up permanently moving to Colorado and married her husband Matthew there( who has an actual twin brother). I was lucky enough to be apart of her bride crew and I could never see myself marrying my forever man without her by my side!
Bridesmaid
Paulina is my mini me cousin, since a young age she always followed me around and was the little sister I didn't have. From our mannerisms to our sass it's easy to see we're related. She also has her own line of jewelry that is all custom-made! Excited to have her part of my bride tribe to help me marry the man of my dreams!
