On August 28th, 2016, Joe and I matched on a lovely little dating app called Tinder. Now I know what a lot of people think when they hear the word Tinder... but honest to god "it wasn't like that". I was getting ready to start my 2nd year of PT school, single, and just wanting to get into dating again. Little did I know that this "match" would be my forever. We went out to dinner on a Sunday to this place called Cafe Del Sole and I remember Joe wearing these hideous new balance sneakers. He was very cute and easy to talk to, so much so, we went to the local park after dinner and held hands as we walked. At the end of the date, he first asked me to take a selfie with a " smile through the pain" pose that he later sent to all of his guy friends. He also asked me for a hug, but once we locked, it was more of an embrace. Joe called it his 10 second hug. I was probably secretly falling for him even then. After countless Starbucks study dates, we never really left each other alone and finally made it official two months later at my PT halloween party.
