Charla and I grew up together as cousins, but I always thought of her as the big sister I never had--and desperately needed! She taught me how to peg my jeans, get the perfect wave in my bangs, and how to talk like a normal pre-teen ("Tessy, don't say that--that's weird."). She did it all with her signature fierce affection. As we have grown older, our relationship has deepened and matured too. I can always count on Charla to get my joke, share my laughter, refill my cocktail, give me the best advice, and have my back through all the ups and downs life has to offer. I'm so happy and honored she'll be standing beside me on one of the most important days of my life.

Thadeus and I have been in each others lives since I was eight and he was four. We had a typical brother relationship growing up. Whether it be working in the yard for hours on end, playing sports like basketball in the park and football on the beach, or rough housing until we were told to knock it off because I was twice his size (or when he got bigger than me, and I decided that it was not fun anymore!). As we entered adulthood our relationship has grown, and now not only is Thadeus my brother, but my best friend. I am honored to have Thadeus at my side as I embark on this new and exciting journey.
