We're Getting Married!

The story of Dennis and Natalie began in the fall of 2015, when they were sophomores in college. Their relationship started as a friendship, with many days spent hanging out with friends and studying together, but it quickly became more. By Christmas of that year, Dennis and Natalie had gone on their first date, to see Christmas lights around Poughkeepsie, their college town. Their new relationship quickly became long distance when Natalie traveled home to Hawaii for Christmas that year, a transition that Dennis and Natalie have grown accustomed to as Natalie continues to fly home to Hawaii twice each year. Throughout the years, Dennis and Natalie have gone on countless adventures together. From apple picking (which Dennis introduced to Natalie) to Dennis’s first airplane ride (a bit later than most, at almost 22 years old); from Disney World to Hawaii, California, Canada, and back, the one constant throughout all of their many adventures has been that their love for each other has continued to grow with each passing day. After Natalie finished her Master’s degree in 2019, Dennis and Natalie moved to Albany, NY so Dennis could follow in his father’s footsteps and pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. Very shortly after, the world was struck with a pandemic and Dennis and Natalie’s busy lives went from spending time in their classrooms to Zoom school, whipped coffee, and lots of take out. After almost 6 years of dating, and having both made it through the quarantine, Dennis decided it was time to pop the question. On a hot day in June 2021, in Disney World, Dennis got down on one knee and asked Natalie to marry him. Without hesitation, Natalie said Yes! Today, you can find Dennis and Natalie still very much in love, spending lots of time with their dog, Kona, getting ice cream together, building Lego sets, and always looking for their next adventure. They are very excited about their upcoming wedding and look forward to sharing their love with all of their guests!
