Things To Do
The most popular destination near Bass Lake is Yosemite National Park. There you will find spectacular views, big trees, waterfalls, and hiking. If you're going to be that close, you should make time to get into the park. This year with COVID 19, they are limiting entry and anyone looking to enter the park will need a reservation. https://www.recreation.gov/ticket/facility/300015.
Some favorites are: Mariposa Grove (easy to moderate and right at the South Entrance), the mist trail hike (moderate), lower Yosemite Falls (easy), Bridalveil falls (easy), Inspiration Point at Tunnel View, Glacier Point, The Ahwahnee Hotel. But really, it's nice to just be in the park.
At the lake we hope to still have some patio boats in the water for the wedding but that will depend on the water level. You will be able to take Kayaks and Paddle Boards out. Also around the lake are a couple fun and easy hikes. A favorite thing of ours to do is just sit on the porch and drink wine looking at the lake!
