We first met at Buffalo's very own bar Thirsty Buffalo. Cara Murphy (Dennis family friend) was working with Kristy at the time and wanted a girls night out where she would introduce her friends to Dennis. We get to Thirsty Buffalo that evening and in the back of the bar is a shirtless, mid twenties, Geneseo hockey player that was the life of the party... Dennis Playfair. With us being at very different times in our life, Dennis finishing college and Kristy just starting her job at the Sabres we decided to go our separate ways. Fast forward two years later, Kristy was travelling to Ottawa with the Sabres on a work trip. A little bored in a hotel room she was swiping the ever so popular Bumble App, for all you baby boomers that is a very popular dating app. As she was swiping through, Dennis profile popped up! With it being a few years later and Kristy intrigued if Dennis would be interested she "swiped right" (or YES) on his profile to only find he "swiped right" (or YES) on her profile! Moments later he messaged and a date was set for a bar just down the road from the infamous Thirsty Buffalo about 2 weeks later. This February 24th we will be together 5 years and we got engaged March 27th 2020. We can't wait for you to join us at our wedding!
