FAQs

We hope these are some answers to questions you might be having. If you have a question that isn't listed please let either of us know and we will do our best to answer you.
Question

Will there be a photographer?

Answer

No. In order to save money we are not going to hire a photographer. We ask that all of the guests feel free to take all the pictures they wish and send them to us after the wedding. We would really appreciate it.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The theme of the wedding is rustic/country, so the dress is casual. Come in whatever makes you comfortable. Just no slouchy Ho-Bos please 🙂

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We have registries at Target and Wal-Mart the links to both are under the registry tab. We also have a Honeymoon Roadtrip Fund registered in Zola's registry under the same tab.

Question

Will the Ceremony and Reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

They will both be outdoors under a tent.

Question

Where are the Ceremony and Reception taking place?

Answer

Both will be at Cottonwood Baptist Church in Bryan.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The wedding will be mid September, and that tends to be when Texas is most hormonal and can't decide what it want to do. Rain, clear beautiful day, or blister us with heat. So I would prepare for anything. Umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures. We encourage you to take pictures of your own if you would like, all that we ask is that you send them to us 😁. If you don't want to take any pictures you are welcome to move over to the side of the tent with tables and food. We also plan to have things set up to entertain the kids.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed 😢! If you can't make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No, neither Dennis nor I are real big fans of alcohol so we've decided not to serve any. We will have apple cider and other non-alcoholic drinks.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes. You are more than welcome to bring the little ones. There will be no alcohol served so everything will be kid friendly. We also plan to have activities set up during the reception to keep them entertained. You are also welcome to bring something if you wish.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Yes, you can RSVP online. Just click on the RSVP tab on the website and type in your name, then click RSVP, afterwards, click whether you with or will not be attending. It will also ask a few optional questions. If for any reason it does not let you or it can't find your name, let us know and we will see what we can do to figure it out. We ask that you let us know by the end of August. We will contact anyone we haven't heard from by then, if we are unable to reach you we will assume you do not wish to come and we will plan accordingly.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes

Question

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flower home as a souvenir?

Answer

Yes, but please ask us first just to make sure it isn't something we had planned to keep. However, you are more than welcome to keep the centerpiece that will be at the center of the tables at the reception area. Those will be specifically made for each family to designate where every family sits in lieu of name placement cards.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we just ask that you use #dennisandjessica or tag us, so that we can easily keep track of all of your pictures!
