We met in elementary school at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, where Dennis was two years ahead of Jess. We became good friends in high school as we shared many mutual friends. Jess likes to say that she fell in love with Dennis when she was 15 years old. After high school, we kept in contact and began dating in 2013. We can't wait to start our journey together as husband and wife.

Dennis was very clever with the proposal plan. He proposed on August 3, 2017, exactly one year before the wedding. He proposed at his parents’ house with both sets of parents present during the proposal. We walked to the site where we will build our first home. When we got to the site, we put a stake in the ground and Dennis got down on one knee and proposed. It was a very special day for us. August 3rd is also his parents’ wedding anniversary!
