We are so excited all of you are coming to our event! We will be hosting a Welcome Party and the Wedding. Please check out the Schedule section!
Cocktail attire! We ask no tee-shirts, shorts or flip flops please. The Welcome Party venue is located walking distance from the hotels downtown and we suggest walking so you can enjoy the secrecy. This being said, the streets can be uneven so we would recommend heels you can walk in!
We will be providing round-trip transportation to and from the venue. That said, you're more than welcome to drive, take a taxi, or arrange your own ride to the castle if you prefer. Getting There: A shuttle will depart promptly at 4:15 PM from the Chateau Victoria Hotel. Please note there will be only one departure, so be sure to arrive with ample time. Getting Back: Return shuttles will run periodically throughout the evening, bringing guests back to downtown Victoria. Please see the link below to view the parking lot and drop off locations: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGkkNXQQ5k/UJZuUD4Zjgyrk89qlAxAfA/view?utm_content=DAGkkNXQQ5k&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h0112315016
Or ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We kindly ask you to arrive no earlier than 4:30 but no later than 4:45 as the castle is a walk from the drop off point.
Yes! There is a paid lot adjacent to the venue. You are more than welcome to drive, however we highly encourage everyone to use the shuttle service, Uber, Lyft or Taxi as there will be an open bar.
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Our dress code is formal attire. Formal wear for gentlemen may include a traditional suit and tie, a tuxedo is not required, nor encouraged. For women, floor length dresses are encouraged, midi length dresses are okay as well. Our venue is formal and we would like people to dress for the occasion. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. The ceremony will be held outside on grass so please ensure you are wearing appropriate shoes.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests, we can only accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one it will appear on your invite. Our venue has a hard cap on number of guests. Thank you for understanding!
We love your little ones, but we are asking guests to refrain from bringing your children or babies unless otherwise stated on the invitation. This is an adult only event.
We ask that you please do not take pictures in the aisle throughout the ceremony, and ask that phones be put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our special day!
If you're visiting from the U.S., you won’t need a passport to enter restaurants or bars. However, most places will require two forms of ID—this can be your driver’s license and a credit card or another form of identification.
