We’re getting married !

Dennis and Breanna both graduated from Pioneer Valley High School in 2014 and knew of each other, but their love story didn’t begin until years later. Dennis claims that during senior year a mutual friend once told him, “Bre thinks you’re cute!”—a moment Breanna insists never happened (or maybe she forgot saying it out loud). Either way, nothing came of it. In 2016, another mutual friend, Mayra (now a bridesmaid!), posted a photo with Breanna on Snapchat. Dennis slid into Mayra’s DMs with a classic “Hey, who’s that girl?” By pure luck, Breanna was with Mayra at the time and saw the message immediately. The girls laughed, and when Breanna asked who he was, Mayra reminded her, “He’s Marlon’s little brother.” Breanna remembered Dennis from high school and was flattered—but still, nothing happened. Fate finally stepped in January 2017, when Dennis and Breanna ran into each other at a mutual friend’s birthday party. After catching up, Dennis invited her to join a group drive after the party. She agreed, and somehow everyone else suddenly became unavailable—leaving just the two of them. Dennis opened Breanna’s car door, and off they went. That night, Breanna began seeing Dennis differently, noticing all the green flags and feeling open to getting to know him more. A few days later, Dennis asked Breanna on their first date—playing pool at Hot Shots in Pismo. Excited but nervous, Breanna invited Mayra along. True to wing-woman form, Mayra quickly made herself scarce, giving them space. Breanna felt comfortable with Dennis, her nerves faded, and from that night on they were nearly inseparable. They made things official on February 15, 2017. In February 2019, Dennis and Breanna adopted their beloved Golden Retriever, Chase, who quickly became their constant companion. Though his unexpected passing in November 2024 was heartbreaking, they will always cherish the time they shared with him. In June 2022, Dennis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and soon accepted a job that required relocating and splitting time between Salinas, CA and Yuma, AZ. The couple navigated a year of long distance through FaceTime calls and frequent visits, until Breanna joined Dennis in Monterey, CA in June 2023. She began working as a receptionist at an oral surgeon’s office, and although far from family, they were grateful to be together again and building a life side by side. On July 25, 2025, Dennis planned a romantic date night at Pebble Beach. After dinner, he took Breanna for a sunset walk along the water, got down on one knee, and said, “I want to make this official forever.” That’s all Breanna remembers before breaking down in tears—though she does clearly remember saying “Yes!” Over the past nine years, Dennis and Breanna’s life together has been filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. They share a love of travel, concerts, time with friends, and cozy nights at home, and have explored places like Denver, Texas, Nashville, Costa Rica, and El Salvador. They couldn’t be happier to become husband and wife and are so grateful to celebrate this special day with their family and friends in August.
