We'll be getting married at White Fence Farm in Trade, TN, about 20 minutes west of our home in Boone, NC. It's a beautiful, rustic venue and we're thrilled to have you join us there for both the ceremony and reception. A few things to keep in mind: you will mostly be on uneven grassy and gravel surfaces throughout the evening, so plan footwear accordingly. There is very minimal cell phone reception at the venue and only modest wifi, at best.
Please see the "Travel and Lodging" section of our website for hotel room blocks and other suggestions!
We are picturing a "dressy casual" dress code- want folks to get a little fancier than day-to-day wear, but still feel comfortable and able to dance, play some yard games, and maybe make s'mores at the fire pit! Also, feel free to bring a change of shoes or even clothes for later evening celebrations if that's helpful!
Please only bring your children if they are listed on your invitation, and if you think you will have more fun with them there :) We genuinely love all of your kiddos, AND we want you to relax, have fun, and to stay as late as you wish. Please also keep in mind that White Fence Farm is in a rustic setting with a small pond near the barn, barbed wire/electric fences on the perimeters, and cows on the property, and that younger children will need close monitoring for their safety if you decide to bring them.
Please only bring a date if your invitation specifically indicates a "plus one."
No, we are not currently planning to provide transportation to and from the venue. We encourage you to carpool and to have a concrete plan ahead of time for getting home safely. Please keep in mind that ride options such as Uber are limited in this rural area. You are also welcome to camp at the venue!
Yes! We are registered at Target, and have also created a "Creating a Shared Home" newlywed fund if you'd prefer to give cash; both are linked on the "Registry" section of this website. Either way, we are deeply grateful for your generosity, and most of all for your presence on our big day.
Please plan to arrive at the venue by 4:45pm in order to allow plenty of time for parking and getting settled before the 5pm ceremony.
Please RSVP by May 1st using the “RSVP” page on this website. Let us know if you have any trouble with it!
