FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:00 PM. We kindly ask guests to arrive by 2:30 PM to allow sufficient time for parking and seating. Thank you for helping us ensure a smooth and timely start to the ceremony.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Out of respect for the sacred nature of the wedding, we kindly ask guests to dress modestly and respectfully (semi-formal attire is a perfect choice). For women: Dresses should be below the knee or longer. Please choose attire with modest necklines and coverage. There will be seating available, but it is traditional to stand for the wedding ceremony (if you are able). Please wear shoes that are comfortable and appropriate for the occasion. For men: Long pants such as khakis or chinos are requested (no jeans, please). Polos or dress shirts are an excellent choice. Please avoid wearing open-toe shoes. Thank you for helping us maintain a reverent and joyful atmosphere for our celebration.

Question

Where will the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception take place?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church. The cocktail hour and reception will follow at The Barn in Mariemont. Cocktail hour will be held on the first floor of the venue, where guests are welcome to explore the on-site art gallery and enjoy the courtyard (weather permitting). The reception will take place on the second floor; an elevator is available for guests who require accessibility accommodations. Please note that the drive from the church to the reception venue is approximately 30 minutes, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful of timing following the ceremony. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Question

Is there parking available at the wedding ceremony/venue?

Answer

Yes, parking will be available at both locations. Ceremony: There is a limited number of parking spaces at the church. Additional parking is available at a neighboring church with a larger lot, where guests are welcome to park. We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking. Reception: The venue offers on-site parking, including a gravel lot and courtyard parking, each accommodating approximately 15–25 vehicles depending on size. If these areas reach capacity, street parking is available nearby. Please note that street parking may require a short walk to the venue through a safe neighborhood. Thank you for planning accordingly, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Question

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

We will be serving a Mediterranean-style menu, which is generally accommodating to a variety of dietary needs. Guests are welcome to include any allergy or dietary information when submitting their RSVP. If you have already RSVP’d and need to add or update any information, please feel free to reach out to us directly. We will do our best to ensure everyone is comfortably accommodated.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, an open bar will be available for our guests to enjoy. Bartenders will have a tip jar available should you wish to show your appreciation for their service. Please remember to bring a valid ID and be prepared to present it upon request. We kindly ask that guests do not bring outside alcohol, as all beverages will be provided. Thank you, and we hope you relax and enjoy celebrating with us!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We invite you to be fully present and participate in this sacred moment with us. We are grateful to have hired two wonderful professional photographers who will be capturing the ceremony and all the special moments throughout the day. This allows everyone to relax, be attentive, and enjoy the celebration with us.

Question

What is the best way to RSVP and when is the deadline?

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We are grateful for your generosity and presence at our wedding. At this time, we do not have a traditional wedding registry. As we are currently saving to purchase a home, we kindly request that any gifts be given in the form of cash or check. Thank you for your kindness and generosity as we begin this new journey together.

Question

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to limited space, we kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. We truly wish we could include everyone, but we appreciate your understanding as we keep our celebration intimate.
