Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

There are two options! Option 1 (recommended): (BQN) Rafael Hernandez Airport Aguadilla About a 40 minute drive to Rincon. This is the airport we'd recommend but it can be tricky, as its a very small airport and has limited flight times. Option 2: (SJU) Luis Munoz Marin International Airport This is Puerto Rico's largest airport and offers way more flight times. However, landing here you'd be about a 2.5 hour drive from Rincon. You'd need to rent a car, or if enough people choose this route we can arrange for a shuttle bus to take you across the island. Time permitting, you can make a day checking out the beautiful streets of Old San Juan before heading over to the west side of the island!

Where am I staying?

Answer

While our wedding is at Casa Islena we ask that our guests book their own Airbnb's. We will be providing several recommendations of nearby airbnb's and hotels in the accommodation tab.

What is the Uber situation?

Answer

There are no Ubers in Rincon but we have the phone number of several taxi's that we will share with guests. (This is why we recommend booking one of the near by Airbnb's to help avoid needing transportation during your visit.)

Attire?

Answer

For the ceremony/reception, we ask that our guests wear beach formal attire (i.e., long flowy dresses, linen shirts, ties not necessary). Feel free to reach out to Denise if you need outfit consultations. Happy to help! Note: It will be hot and hopefully sunny as the ceremony will be on the beach.

Renting a car

Answer

If you’re flying into BQN there is a reliable enterprise right next to the airport. They have a shuttle service from the airport that brings you right to the rental office.
