Our Kyoto GuideOur Kyoto Guide

The Wedding Website of Denise Anne Castro and Adrian Rey Fajardo
Kyoto feels like a story waiting to be told - a place where time slows just enough to savor the moment yet moves with a rhythm full of life, history, and quiet wonder. It’s a city of contrasts: vibrant yet serene, ancient yet ever-evolving. For us, it holds some of our most cherished memories. It was here that we got engaged! Kyoto is chaotic good - alive with bustling markets, lantern-lit alleyways, and whispers of history in every shrine and teahouse. Yet within that energy lies a peaceful order, making it feel like a world of its own. Beyond the tourist paths, Kyoto is full of hidden gems. Wander, skip the crowds, and discover jazz bars, secret gardens, and cozy cafés where time stands still. In autumn, the city glows in crimson and gold, as if nature itself is celebrating love and new beginnings. We hope you see Kyoto as we do - not just as a place, but as a feeling. Here are some of our favorite spots, ones that have shaped our story and, hopefully, will become part of yours.
