FAQs

The Wedding Website of PAUL BASANTES and Denise Yepez
Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

Seating begins at 2:30pm and the ceremony will promptly begin at 3pm. If you are running late, please meet us at the reception as we would like to minimize interruptions.

Question

What time should I arrive at the reception?

Answer

Guests can start arriving between 5:30 - 5:45pm. Keep in mind the valet may take some time and we don't want you to miss cocktail hour which promptly starts at 6pm.

Question

Is there parking available at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Ceremony: There is a small parking lot located at the corner of Hamilton Ave and North Lexington Ave. Additionally, metered street parking is available across the street from the entrance of the church. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot. Reception: Whitby Castle will be providing valet parking.

Question

Is this an adults only wedding?

Answer

In order to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, we have chosen to make our special day adults only.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly request guests arrive in formal attire for the reception.

Question

What day should I RSVP by?

Answer

January 16th, 2026 or if possible earlier.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception are indoors.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guest list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. There will be a beef, fish and chicken option. We can also accommodate allergy and/or dietary restrictions.

Question

Will there be open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Question

Is there a gift registry? Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we can ask for but if you would like to honor us with a gift, a wedding card box will be at our reception.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding ceremony "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us and to not disturb our photographer and videographer.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images. Please feel free to share directly with us.
