Both are correct! We're having two separate celebrations. We are getting legally married in a small family-focused ceremony on the 18th, and then having a large fun reception/party on the 24th. The site would only let us put in a single date so we chose the 24th.
The ceremony on the 18th will be small and intimate, so we have invited mostly family. The reception is for all of our in-town colleagues and our friends both in-town and out-of-town. Therefore you're most likely "supposed" to attend the reception on the 24th! But contact one of us if you're not sure. (dbeike@uark.edu or morgan.a.roddy314@gmail.com)
Click on the ""RSVP" tab along the top right. Then type in your first and last name and hit enter. A form with your full name and few other questions on it should pop up. Check the box to indicate whether you'll attend. You can also request a song to suggest for our playlist. There's space to put in the name of one guest if you wish. That's a limitation of this website, not an indication that you can only bring one guest. Let us know via email (dbeike@uark.edu or morgan.a.roddy314@gmail.com) if you are bringing more than one guest so we can keep count. Also, if your name does not appear when you type it in to the RSVP section, you may RSVP to one of those email addresses instead (we probably misspelled your name--sorry!).
Sort of, a little bit! A champagne toast and some local beer and cider will be provided free of cost for you at Sideways. In addition, Abel at Sideways is preparing a groom's cocktail (Daiquiri Fizz) and a bride's cocktail (Bee's Knees) that will be available free of charge (until they run out!). Other than that, they'll have lots of beers and mixed drinks for you to purchase if you would like.
Absolutely not. Sideways is a 21+ venue, and we are not safe for work.
Yes! We will have a taco bar with food from Tacos 4 Life provided for you. There will also be petit fours from Rick's Bakery.
Honestly, the pleasure of your company would be by far the most valuable thing you could give us. We do have a honeymoon fund set up on this site (see the "Registry" tab above) for those who wish to donate, but PLEASE do not feel obligated to do so. Or perhaps you'd like to send us a card; that would be sweet! Our address is 4989 W. Ponca St., Fayetteville, AR 72704
The only dress code is that established by local laws. If you want to dress in your finest, that's great! If you want to wear bar attire, great! If you want to wear shorts and flip-flops, great! If you want to wear business attire, great! Morgan and Denise will be wearing wedding attire, but guests should wear whatever they like.
