We’re tying the knot!

Once upon a time, in the charming town of Cypress, TX, there was a delightful get-together hosted by our vibrant friend Desi. Desi had prepared a taco feast, and I decided to add a little extra flavor by bringing my homemade salsa. Little did I know, this salsa was about to set the stage for a love story. As I was enjoying the lively gathering, a super tall and incredibly attractive stranger—whose presence was as captivating as the sunset—sauntered over to the table. With a playful glint in his eye, he remarked that my salsa wasn’t spicy enough. I couldn't help but laugh at his boldness. What started as a cheeky comment quickly blossomed into playful banter. We spent the evening exchanging witty remarks and sharing laughter, each new conversation drawing us closer together. By the time the night sky unfurled its blanket of stars, we found ourselves side by side, searching for constellations in the sky and sharing dreams. From that magical night under the stars, Cliff and I were inseparable.

One beautiful weekend, Cliff and I were at his parent's house, gathering in the backyard for a special celestial event: the solar eclipse of 2023. The excitement was palpable as we all were eagerly anticipating the cosmic spectacle. As the eclipse began, the sky darkened and a soft, magical light enveloped everything. As I was gazing up at the sky, completely mesmerized by the eclipse, Cliff was getting down on one knee behind me. When I finally turned around and looked his way, Cliff took a deep breath, held out the ring and popped the question! My response was a jubilant, “YESSSSSS!!” that seemed to echo through the backyard. At that magical moment, church bells rang in the distance, adding a beautiful symphonic touch to our perfect scene. Under the awe-inspiring light of the eclipse, our love was illuminated in a way I had only dreamed of. The moment was flawless, a blend of cosmic wonder and heartfelt commitment, marking the beginning of our forever.
