Do you have a registry or suggestions for gifts?

Answer

We do not have a registry and do not want physical or monetary gifts. Your presence is the only gift we ask for!

Do I need to rent a car to get around?

Answer

Not necessarily. An Uber or Lyft ride from the Tampa airport to the hotel would be about $50-$75. You can walk to the beach from the hotel in about 10 minutes. If you rent a car, please note that there is only one parking space available per room at the hotel. If available (likely), the hotel will rent extra parking spaces for $25/night. Otherwise, remote paid parking is a option.

What about meals?

Answer

Dinner (& open bar, yah!) will be provided on Friday and Saturday nights. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are several within walking distance. Also, each unit has a full kitchen and the Publix grocery store is only 5 blocks away.

Are the evening events indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Welcome Dinner is located in the 2nd floor Vibe Room, which will have open sliding doors to the balcony. The Wedding and reception will be held outdoors on the 6th floor rooftop. A cocktail hour immediately after the wedding ceremony will be held in the Vibe Room (while the newlyweds are being photographed with immediate family).

What do I need to know about the beach gatherings?

Answer

Friday beach time will be from Noon-5:00 and Saturday from 10:00-3:00. We will meet on Treasure Island beach, directly west and north of the beach waterslide at "Gulf Front Park" parking area. Parking is somewhat limited, but only a 5 block walk along 104th Ave. from hotel. We and our gracious local friends are bringing extra chairs, canopies, umbrellas, games and coolors with ice and drinks. Warning: the Florida sun is already intense....no frying!

When is check-in and what do we do if we arrive earlier on Friday for beach gathering?

Answer

Official hotel check-in time is 4:00pm, but they may be able to check you in earlier if they aren't too busy. The hotel will allow early guests to park in the lot prior to check-in, but be sure to go to office and get a parking pass. Alternatively, attempt to park at the beach..."Gulf Front Park". If arriving via Uber/Lyft, the hotel will store your luggage...so change into beach attire and walk on over (see prior Q&A).
