✈️ Traveling to Boracay from San Francisco Getting to Boracay is an adventure worth the journey! Here’s a quick guide to help you plan your trip from San Francisco, California:

Flight

Philippines Airlines

1. International Flight to the Philippines Start by booking a flight from (SFO) to (MNL) Manila (or to Caticlan - MPH, if you're going to Borocay just for the wedding). Most major airlines (like Philippine Airlines) offer one-stop routes from SFO (typically 14–18 hours). 2. Domestic Flight to Caticlan (MPH) Take a short domestic flight (1 hour or less) to (MPH), also known as Caticlan Airport, the closest airport to Boracay. Tip: Book your international flight and domestic connection with the same airline. We use skyscanner as our platform for getting good deals (go incognito).

Travel Note

Shuttle or Boat Travel

3. Transfer to Boracay Island Once you arrive in Caticlan: Take a quick tricycle or van ride to Caticlan Jetty Port. Board a 15-minute boat ride to Boracay. A van or tricycle will take you from the port to your hotel. RECOMMENDED: Many hotels or travel providers offer door-to-door transfer packages that include the airport pickup, boat, and island transport. I highly recommend this if this is your first time and unfamiliar with the ports, language, and monetary exchange.
