Debbie and I met at Virginia Tech almost 30 years ago! It is hard to believe that many years have passed and I am grateful that not only did I receive a degree, but a beautiful friendship as well. She is kind, generous, loving and brings humor and compassion to my life. She is a devoted wife, mother and friend and her family has brought me so much joy, laughter and great memories to fill a lifetime. She is a wonderful example to me and so many others. My Thelma and Louise partner in travel adventure and fun! Cindy and I have traveled many miles together in this journey and have shared many laughs and enjoyed a world of discovery together. She has been a blessing to me and to my family in countless many ways. My father will walk us both down the aisle on October 12 in this celebration of family, of love and gratitude.
