Barbados does not have ride-sharing apps (such as Uber or Lyft). The easiest way to get around is by taxi. Taxis are safe, reliable, and widely available across the island. You can find them at the airport, hotels, and popular areas. Most taxis do not use meters — fares are typically fixed, so it’s best to confirm the price before starting your trip. Many drivers accept cash (Barbadian or US dollars), and some accept cards. From the Airport: Official taxis are available right outside Grantley Adams International Airport arrivals. No pre-booking is required. Private Drivers: If you plan to explore the island, you may wish to arrange a private driver through your hotel or villa.
Rental Car
