It turns out Bridget and Denis had been orbiting around each other for a while - same parties, mutual friends, just missing one another. The closest they came to officially meeting was when Denis went to a holiday party… hosted at Bridget’s house. The very next day, Denis asked a friend for Bridget’s number, and just a few days later, on December 22, 2018, they went on their first date (not exactly the most convenient anniversary date, but it stuck!). After a wonderful year of dating, the world shut down in March 2020. Denis moved in with Bridget and her roommate Kelly, and the three of them made the best of lockdown life. By August 2020, Bridget and Denis found their own place and began settling into life together. In October 2021, they welcomed Phoebe into their family - the sweetest dog who quickly stole their hearts and sealed their little unit. Then, in June 2024, Denis got down on one knee and Bridget said yes! Now, after years of adventures, they can’t wait to celebrate their wedding surrounded by the people they love most.
