Downeaster
The Amtrak Downeaster runs from Boston to Portland. Tickets range from $30-40 and the train ride is just about two and a half ours from Boston to Portland. P.S. They have a cafe cart on board that sells Allagash and Red Snapper Dogs!

Portland's airport is a short drive from the ferry pick-up spot, the welcome party venue, and many hotels.

Boston Logan
Boston Logan airport is another option. Rent a car and drive or take the Downeaster train to Portland. Traffic can be heavy during Summer Weekends, so we often opt for the train.
