Perryville Battleground
Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site is a 745-acre park located near Danville. An interpretive museum is located near the site where many Confederate soldiers killed in the Battle of Perryville were buried. Additionally, monuments, interpretive signage, and cannons mark notable events that occurred during the battle. The site became part of the Kentucky State Park System in 1936.
Kentucky Horse Park
The only park of its kind in the world, the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, is a working horse farm, educational theme park, and equine competition facility. The park is set on more than 1,200 acres in the heart of Kentucky’s famous Bluegrass Region.
Bourbon Tours
Kentucky is the bourbon capital of the world! Of course, we think Buffalo Trace, in Frankfort is the best bourbon around! Feel free to stop by and take a guided tour!
