Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Beaufort is a touristy town so there are lots of great options: hotels, AirBnBs, and Bed and Breakfasts! Check the TRAVEL page for some recommendations and links!

What happens if it rains?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors. If there is inclement weather, we will move the ceremony indoors. Unfortunately, the indoor venue is quite small and will only fit a handful of guests. We will notify you via text as soon as we are able if we have to do that.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests are 13 or older (except those in the wedding party). The reception is on a dock with minimal protection from the river.

I'm flying in! What airport should I use?

Answer

Savannah, GA (SAV) and Charleston, SC (CHS) are the closest airports at about 45 minutes and 1.5 hours from Beaufort. They are smaller so may not have as many flight options. Charlotte, NC (CLT) is a larger airport and offers more, but is about 3.5 hours from Beaufort.

I'll need to rent a car. What is the best option?

Answer

We suggest Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, or National since they are all available at the Savannah, Charleston, and Charlotte airports.

Is there a ride sharing service in Beaufort?

Answer

There are only a FEW cars that drive for Uber and Lyft. We suggest you plan accordingly. There is also a taxi service: ADR Taxi 843-726-5191.
