Dean and Sara both grew up in loving homes surrounded by lifelong friends and a faithful church community. Dean spent most of his childhood in Altadena, and Sara in Tujunga. Little did they know, growing up, they were living only 15 minutes away from each other. After graduating college in 2023, Sara started attending Grace Community Church. In 2024, she joined a bible study where Dean was attending as a part of the college ministry. Dean really didn't know his purpose until he laid eyes on Sara and thought to himself... "Man, I gotta get myself someone like her." Soon after, they connected through a small group that Dean was leading, and Sara was hosting. Dean was thrilled to spend more time with Sara as he saw her heart of hospitality, opening the doors of her home to people for ministry and fellowship. Sara respected Dean and his leadership in their small group and his heart to serve. One day in 2025, after a run with their friends, Dean couldn't help but tell Sara how he felt about her. Good thing their faces were already blushing red from the run. Knowing his love for the church and his heart for Christ, it was a no-brainer for Sara to give this relationship a try. After ten months of intentional dating, they knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together serving and emulating Christ in all they do for the glory of God. They were engaged on April 4, 2026. And the rest is history (soon to be made) as they get married and never look back.
