Our proposal story started with a trip out west to visit our friends Laura and Kevin, who had recently moved to Arizona. While we were there, Tim suggested we take a drive to Sedona to check out a hike his coworker had recommended—apparently the sunset views were incredible. After a little traffic on the way (of course there was), we finally made it and started our hike along the Slim Shady Trail at Castle Rock. The red rocks and views were already pretty magical… but Tim had something even better planned. Not long into the hike, he got down on one knee and proposed! To make the moment even more special, he had secretly arranged for a photographer to capture the whole thing. Travel and adventure have always been a huge part of our relationship. Over the past 7 years together, we’ve been lucky enough to explore so many amazing places. So when it came time to plan our wedding, choosing to elope just felt like the perfect way to celebrate—by turning our big day into another adventure. In true Danielle and Tim fashion, the celebration doesn’t stop there. The day after our elopement we’ll be heading to the Sphere to see No Doubt, followed by a pool party with a DJ, Because if you know us, you know we love a good party! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you when we get back.
