We’re getting married!

Zackary has always shown me such a tender, gentle love. I became his girlfriend at just 16 years old sitting on my moms couch and he looked over at me and asked “will you be my girlfriend?” I said yes and we both nervously laughed and the next few minutes were complete silence like we had just made this life changing decision and didn’t know what to do next. Being as young as we were we didnt have cars so we didn’t see each other much. Either my parents, my tia (my maid of honor), or my bestfriend (also my maid of honor) would drive me to and from tulare to see this kid. It’s also been times where my cousin celise (my bridesmaid) and i would tell my mom we needed her car to “go to the store” but she was taking me to see zack of course! Shoutout to everyone who’s contributed. I remember the day I got my wisdom teeth out he told me he was going to be there the morning of and stay with me until it was time to go home. The day after my pain almost felt worse but my mom had somewhere to attend so I stayed with my amma. He knew I was there but no one was able to get him to me that day. He texted me that he was coming but it would take him a while and I had no idea what he meant by that. Almost 2 hours passed and he showed up sweaty and out of breath… with a skateboard in his hand! Yes this 17 year old kid skated from one side of town to another to care for me. He fed me that day, stayed with me, and completely showered me in love. I knew it. I knew I was going to marry that kid. He’s shown me nothing less, in fact so much more since that day. I absolutely love this life with him and cannot wait to carry his last name proudly. Here’s to a lifetime!
