Dena had taken Chris out for a full day of surprises for his birthday, but Chris had a secret surprise of his own! After riding around on e-bikes through Temecula Valley Wine Country all afternoon, Dena and Chris had a dinner reservation at the beautiful Leoness Winery. They ordered a bottle of wine with dinner and decided to finish their last glasses outside exploring the vineyard. It was just the two of them and one lit path through the vineyard under the moon and stars. Chris knelt down to “tie his shoe” and told Dena to “look at that sick house up on the mountain” (hahaha). He then called for Dena to turn back around and when she did he popped the question! All Dena could see out in that dimly lit vineyard was her stunning engagement ring sparkling in the moonlight. She was shocked and speechless, but of course she said “Yes!” They walked back through the vineyard hand in hand. Sharing a loveseat under the stars, overlooking the valley, they finished their wine and talked about their exciting future together.
