Sitting at about 8,300 feet above sea level, the air is considerably thinner in Estes Park than wherever you may be traveling from. Whether you hail from 5,280 or you've never been above sea level your entire life, we want to make sure you have the best time while you're with us at this altitude! Make sure to drink lots of water and if you're prone to some altitude sickness or have never been at altitude before, it can be helpful to take some ibuprofen when you wake up in the morning. You will also feel those drinks a significantly quicker at this altitude, so pace yourself, hydrate, eat bread all night, and dance the night away!
Yes, there is valet parking on site. We will have shuttles from the Stanley hotel, but those who choose to drive can park on site. Just remember to be safe! You are welcome to keep your car there overnight and shuttle home as long as you pick it back up in the morning. There is not a robust taxi system in Estes, but if you do not feel comfortable driving there will be people to hitch a ride home with. We can't stress enough, the cocktails at this altitude will hit you significantly harder than where ever you hail from, so please be careful and take the shuttle if you can.
I wish we knew... but the average during the day is about 60 degrees. We are planning on having the ceremony and cocktail hour outside, so please bring some layers in case it gets a touch chilly.
Sorry this is an adult only event. Anyone in the wedding party under 10 years old will be retiring to their bunks early :)
No, we thought it would be easier to let people choose on where they want to stay since there are so many awesome resorts!
We will have shuttles running every ~15 min outside the Aspire hotel at The Stanley starting at 3pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm.
