September 20, 2022 marked the day they would officially proclaim each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. Fun fact, Emily's favorite animal is a penguin. The question was asked from Dustin to Emily with the gift of a heart shaped pebble. Dustin found this pebble on a walk while on the phone with Emily and took this finding as a sign. Penguins gift their partner a pebble to declare their love. Together they shared many adventures and journeys to end up where they are today. The engagement was confirmed September 27, 2024 while vacationing on the Carnival Freedom Cruise ship. The last night of their cruise, the couple went to go have their photos taken as souvenirs. Unbeknownst to Emily, Dustin was ready to pop the question. So celebrate with them on September 27th 2025, the one year anniversary of the proposal, and share in all the eventually's to come their way.
