German Village
What's not to love about the brick streets and homes that make German Village the charming neighborhood that is?! Some of our favorite places there include: - The Book Loft (and Stauf's Coffee Roasters, which is right next door) - Parson's North Brewing (about a mile away) - Pistachia Vera - Jeni's Ice Cream Walkup Counter - Schiller Park - Fox in the Snow - Scioto Audubon Metro Park (where Nocterra Brewing just opened a new location!) There are even more cute shops, great restaurants, and lovely walks to be found all around the neighborhood that we didn't include on this list, and all of our engagement photos were taken in the area! We don't think there's a single restaurant here that we wouldn't recommend.
Canal Winchester
Our new home town and where our reception is being held! Downtown Canal is small, and there's admittedly a lot that we haven't explored yet. We have a couple suggestions below of things in the area that we enjoy, but let us know if you find something off-list that you'd recommend to us! - Homestead Brewing - Johnson's Ice Cream - Coffee on High - Shade on the Canal - Pickerington Ponds Metro Park - Chestnut Ridge Metro Park (a little further out, but a lovely walk!)
