Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is black tie optional. How optional is "black tie optional?" Great question! Our vision includes either a floor-length gown, a formal cocktail dress, or a dark suit and tie. We would love for you to showcase your style!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 1:30pm. There is limited parking in the lot behind the church, we kindly request that guests arrive no later than 1:15 so we may begin promptly at 1:30.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see our "Travel" tab to view all room block information for the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson.

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

We have SO many kids in our lives that we love so much. Unfortunately, if all of them came to our wedding, we would be far beyond capacity. We invite you to enjoy a date night out, without your kiddos!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

While we would love to accommodate everyone, we kindly ask that only those specifically invited attend our special day.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony has parking directly behind the church. Our reception venue at Liberty House has complimentary valet parking.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Your safety and enjoyment are important to us. If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please include the details in your RSVP or reach out to us directly.

Question

Can guests take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture our special day. We kindly ask that guests refrain from using their phones to take photos during our church ceremony. Let's all be present and enjoy the moment together, and we'll share the beautiful photos and videos with you after the wedding.

Question

How should I address the lovely couple?

Answer

In our journey towards marriage, we have both decided to maintain our cherished last names. Our names have become an integral part of our individual identities, representing our heritage, family ties, and personal histories. By keeping our original names, we honor and respect the unique stories they hold. We appreciate your understanding and support as we celebrate our love while preserving the legacies associated with our names. We will proudly continue to be Demi Kouvaris and Seamus O'Hara!
