Maid of Honor
Nicole and I met dancing the night away, that night I knew we would be great friends. Nicole is my Little which, in sorority terms means I'm her mentor and mom. That being said, she is the queen of glam! We're constantly gossiping about makeup and I've learned all my tricks from her. When we're together we lose track of time, we are two peas in a pod and I'm blessed to have her in my life. When John and I got engaged, I automatically knew she would be my Maid of Honor and she would do an amazing job!
Jessica
Bridesmaid
Jess and I have been friends since my second year of university when I joined our sorority. She's my Big which makes her my momma. We quickly bonded over our love of dogs and Grey's Anatomy. She is truly my other half and I didn't know when I became a sister I'd meet someone so speacial to me. Together we've travelled to France, Iceland and China, and we're always looking for our next adventure. When she moved to Australia, a part of me was missing but SHE'S BACK ! My wedding day is one adventure I could never imagine having without her.
Annike

Annike is one of my oldest childhood friends. Since junior kindergarten Annike, Kayla and I have been the three musketeers. From childhood pool parties and trick-or-treating, we've been there for each other through it all. Annike has an infectious smile and when we're together we're always laughing and having the best time. We've been friends all our lives and when thinking of my wedding as a little girl, I've always imagined her being my Bridesmaid.
Emma

I met Emma in Highschool when she moved to Petawawa. When we started spending time together we became inseparable. We would drive all over town, never having a plan but finding adventure on the way. Over the years we've always had so much fun singing and dancing and still do to this day. Emma and I always try to find the fun in any situation and love trying new things like crafting or painting. Even though we aren't very good, we try our best and have a blast doing it!
Kayla
Bridesmaid
Kayla is another of my childhood friends! I've been lucky enough to watch her grow from a little girl to an amazing lawyer and I'm so proud of her. We've matured from highschool packed lunches to charcuterie and wine nights. This girl is the hostess with the mostess and the way to her heart is a good bottle of dry wine haha! I've heard if you stay friends for 10 years you'll be friends for the rest of your lives and I'm so blessed to have someone like Kayla as a forever friend.
Megan

I met Megan working at Petsmart, the same one where John and I met. Megan took me under my wing and helped me learn how to groom dogs, as well as helped me with school. Megan is one of the nicest people I've met in my life and I'm so lucky to have someone like her in my life. From her engagement, wedding and new baby I've seen her grown so much and I can't wait for her to be by my side on my special day just like I was able to be there for her.
Christian
Best Man
I met Christian when he was only a few hours old, and we’ve been brothers ever since. It wasn’t always easy growing up four-years a part, but with a little time (and a lot of beer) we found we had more in common than we ever knew. Christian and I eventually moved in together, and Demi came to live with us soon after. I chose Christian as my best man because I knew I could count on him and wanted to thank him for all his help raising our dog Oden during the time he lived with us.
Lee

Lee and I have known each other for a long time and became good friends after high school. Although we grew up with the same friends, our paths didn’t really cross until we lived together with our mutual friend Sean. We quickly realized how much we had in common and how funny it was that we hadn’t been good friends this whole time. We lived together for nearly three years and after countless games of beer pong and pond hockey, Lee has been one of my best friends and ...biggest competition in fantasy hockey.
Tanner

I met Tanner when I was 4 years old, but little did I know the kid across the street would turn out to be one of my best friends. It didn’t take long before Tanner and I became close, playing road hockey everyday and going on adventures in the forest. As we got older, Tanner and I have stayed close and I’m honoured to say he is one of my best friends.
Sean
Groomsman
Sean and I met in high school and we both moved up to Ottawa around the same time, eventually living together with our friend Lee. Sean plays the drums and piano, so we quickly bonded over jam sessions and our love of the same music. We stayed great friends after living together and I eventually took a job working for Sean in the kitchen where he was Head Chef. I’ve learned a lot from him over the years and am lucky to call him one of my best friends.
Michael

I first met Mike in elementary school and we shared the same bus. Mike and I played soccer together in high school, and our team had an undefeated season, but more importantly we had a lot of laughs and the two of us quickly bonded over off-field shenanigans and our love of the same music. Since then, Mike and I have been to too many concerts and road trips to count. Mike would often make trips to Ottawa and invited Demi and I out shopping – the quickest way to Demi’s heart.
Peter
Groomsman
Pete is one of my closest childhood friends, who became more like family to me. I met Pete in high school and we’ve been inseparable ever since. From countless nights working at Subway together to playing pick-up basketball in the park there are no shortage of great memories between us. Pete and I have both move around a lot, but despite the distance we have always been there for each other when we needed it most. I asked Pete to be my groomsmen because I couldn’t imagine getting married without him by my side.
