This is another great option for arrivals into Croatia. We have people coming from around the world so this is another airport to consider when booking flights and planning your travel in and out of Croatia.
Travel Note
It is really easy to get to Hvar from Split. There are a couple options for traveling from Split to Hvar on a daily basis: ferry or catamaran. Both seemingly have multiple trips per day. Passenger-Only Ferry: there are direct routes through the following operators: Jadrolinija, Krilo (Kapetan Luka), and TP line. Ticket prices seem to range from €20 - €25 one way with an additional €5 charge for baggage. Passenger and Vehicle Ferry: it appears you'll need to book a ferry through Jadrolinija. The main difference, unlike the passenger only ferry that brings you directly to Hvar Town, the car transfer ferry will bring you from Split to Stari Grad. Travel Note
There does seem to be some options for a ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar as well. At first glance the costs seems to be about 48 euros per passenger and the total duration of travel time is a little more than 3 hours. Another option to consider!

House Or Rental
As this may be easily assumed, we encourage our guests to check options sites like Airbnb's or Booking. Those traveling in a group may find better rates and more unique stays at a villa on the island that is near by. I can say that some guests have already found some houses on these sites. They are within a 10 minute walk of Hotel Park Hvar. And have a cancellation policy closer to the date of the travel.
