COVID-19

Answer

Travelers who successfully complete a pre-travel test will not be subject to the state’s 10-day quarantine program. The test has to be taken 72 hours from the final leg of departure AND the negative COVID-19 test result uploaded to the Safe Travels platform or printed out and in hand prior to departure to Hawai‘i in order to avoid the 10-day quarantine. Completing the state of Hawaiʻi’s Safe Travels Hawaiʻi program

Answer

Prior to your arrival, if you are an adult (age 18 years or older) you will need to create an online user account and register with the State of Hawai‘i Safe Travels Hawai‘i program. Once you create your Safe Travels Hawai‘i account, you will next need to enter your traveler information and trip details on the program’s application form. It is important to get the correct test and upload the correct form. Visit Safe Travels Hawai‘i Help for answers to questions about the online application form. If you need assistance with login or technical issues, call the Safe Travels Program: 1-800-GOHAWAII or (1-800-464-2924) 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Hawai‘i Standard Time. Domestic and international callers are accepted.

CommonPass & Vaccination Record QR Code

Answer

For those who have the vaccination, you will have to download the CommonPass app onto your phone. Once you've downloaded it, you will upload your vaccination record so it can be converted into a QR code. It is a digital form of your vaccination card. You will need this code to go to places during your stay in Hawaii.
